What is Call Me?

Call Me makes it easy to notify the people you care about when you unexpectedly have 10 free minutes to talk. Your circle is notified instantly, and the first person to claim your time is prompted to call you.

Is Call Me really free?

Yes. Every feature currently available in Call Me is completely free to use. As we continue to improve the app, we may introduce optional premium features, but the core experience will remain free.

Is 10 minutes really enough?

We believe so. Research suggests that even brief, meaningful conversations can have a measurable positive impact on well-being. We chose 10 minutes because it's enough time to reconnect without feeling like a major commitment, making it much more likely that a conversation actually happens.

Are conversations limited to 10 minutes?

Not at all. Call Me's goal is simply to help two people connect. We ask for 10 minutes because it's a small commitment that's easy to accept. Once the conversation begins, it's entirely up to you how long you talk.

Do people need a Call Me account to join my circle?

No. The people you add to your circle don't need a Call Me account. They simply need to opt in to receive notifications when you're available. When you have 10 free minutes, they'll receive a text message inviting them to claim your time.

Should I add people I don't know very well to my circle?

We recommend building your circle with people you already have a meaningful relationship with. There will be times when no one is available to talk, and that's perfectly normal. Call Me works best when a missed connection doesn't feel like a rejection.

Is there a limit to how many notifications I can send?

You can send as many availability notifications as you'd like. The only limit is that you can send one every 10 minutes. This helps ensure your circle only hears from you when you're genuinely available.

What if no one claims my time?

That's completely okay. Sometimes the people you care about are simply busy. If no one claims your availability, your 10-minute window quietly expires. The next time you have a few free minutes, you can let your circle know again.

Why did you build Call Me?

Loneliness has become a growing public health concern. Ironically, we've never had more ways to communicate, yet it can still be surprisingly difficult to have a real conversation with someone we care about. Busy schedules, uncertainty about whether someone is free, and the effort of coordinating a call often mean those conversations never happen.

We built Call Me to remove that friction. By making it effortless to let someone know you're available, and just as easy for them to say "yes," we hope to help people create more meaningful conversations with the people they love.
